1. Keep a tabs of everything that you eat and drink. No need to
keep track of calories. Just keep track of what you eat and

2. Cut in half your intake of fats. This means using half as
much butter on your breads and toasts. Use half the amount of

9. Include at least two servings of vegetables at lunch and

10. Eat slowly when you eat. It takes time for the body to know
when you are full. If you eat fast you will be overeating and
not realize it.

11. Always switch off the TV when you eat. That includes snacks
as well as meals. Studies have shown that we eat larger portions
when we are watching TV, probably because we are much less aware
